When the Apostle Paul asked God to remove the “thorn in his flesh” (the thing about ourselves that we battle the most) God responded “My Grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness” 12:9 NASB, or “My Grace is sufficient for thee, for My strength is made perfect in weakness”.
It is in the points when we feel we have the hardest battles, that God wants us to recall that our strength is not in our hands, but His.
This is difficult for me in this season, I don’t know how to turn to Him because it feels like a weight that I’d rather bear in distance. I feel like the less I focus on Him the easier it is to cope; but I’m lying to myself. I’m lying because I know that when I come near The Throne of Grace I no longer have to bear the weight of this hardship. I know that as I cast my crown at His Feet, the enemy is stomped and my strength is renewed. This is why I will continue to trust in Him, no matter the circumstances. If you can relate, let me know.
I’ll be posting blogs like this every Saturday to keep yall in tune as I walk this walk with yall. Shabbat Shalom. Peace and Blessings to all!
