Leveling Up: Growth, Graduation, and Giving God the Glory

What's good, everybody! Brother Q checking in with another update on what's been going on behind the scenes.

Over this past week, I've really been taking my music production skills to another level. I've been more intentional with my drum programming, chord progressions, sound selection, and overall production process. I've also noticed a major improvement in my mixing and listening skills.

I'm hearing things differently now. I'm paying closer attention to how instruments interact with each other, how frequencies sit in the mix, and how to make everything work together without losing the feeling of the music.

I've also been expanding my sound library and working with different plugins and instruments from companies like Arturia and Cymatics, including Analog Lab and other production tools. It's been exciting experimenting with new sounds while continuing to develop my own style.

And the crazy thing is, the more I learn, the more I realize there's still so much more to learn! 😂 But that's what makes this journey exciting.

Graduation Is Here! 🎓

On another note, tomorrow is my official graduation ceremony!

After all the assignments, late nights, studying, projects, and countless hours working on my craft, I'm finally getting to celebrate this accomplishment.

I'll be receiving my official degree in approximately two months, but tomorrow marks a major milestone in this journey.

I'm extremely grateful to God for giving me the strength, patience, and opportunity to make it this far.

And believe me, this isn't the finish line. It's another chapter beginning.

New Opportunities in Music

I recently had a conversation with my career advisor about opportunities in music synchronization, also known as sync placements.

For those unfamiliar, sync placements involve getting music placed in films, television shows, commercials, video games, and other visual media.

My advisor provided me with some valuable information and resources, and I've already been going through them, doing my research, and learning more about how the industry works.

Now it's about taking everything I've learned and putting it into action.

I'm excited to explore these opportunities, not just as an artist but also as a producer and the owner of G2G Muzic.

New Music on the Way! 🎶

I've also officially finished my newest single, "Devil Hadda Hold On Me."

This is a personal record, and I'm excited for everybody to hear it. It's another opportunity to share my testimony and show what God has brought me through.

Next up, I'll be getting into the mixing and mastering process for Only God Knows: De-Lux Edition.

My goal is to have the project released by Christmas, possibly even earlier. If everything doesn't come together by then, I'm aiming for New Year's at the latest.

I'm looking forward to sharing this next chapter of the music with y'all.

It's Bigger Than Music

At the end of the day, everything I'm learning, everything I'm creating, and every opportunity I'm pursuing has a greater purpose.

I'm not doing this just to make music or build a name for myself.

I'm doing this to glorify God, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, grow the ministry He's entrusted to me, and create opportunities to provide for my family and myself.

I believe God gives us gifts and abilities for a reason, but it's our responsibility to develop those gifts and put them to work.

That's where I'm at right now.

Learning, growing, creating, researching, and preparing for whatever doors God decides to open.

I'm excited about what's ahead, and I'm grateful for everyone who's been following and supporting this journey.

There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm ready for it. 

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
