Apologies again as this update comes late. This week, I was blessed to see my daughters, and my niece, baptized and given the opportunity to share a bit of my testimony. I was also honored with the opportunity to host a friend's memorial service, at her daughter's request. I was nervous, I was in doubt of myself, but I never once stopped doubting Jesus. I called out to Him, and He took control. I moved out of the way, and though to me I was a nervous wreck, the family of my friend was pleased with the event. I shared words of hope, words of encouragement, and most of all, we prayed together, we laughed together, we mourned together, and we loved on each other with grace and peace. My friend's daughter spoke of her mother, and a few friends of mine whose lives were impacted by our friend did as well. I pray that the takeaway for that day is that we must remain in Christ. When we are sad, happy, or in limbo with questions, when we call on Him, He is there. “YaHWeH is close to all who call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him in Truth.” Whatever your struggle, whatever your questions, whatever your loss, and whatever your doubts, call on Him. Trust. God bless you!
